TOYOTA GIVES FANS THE FIVE-STAR TREATMENT
Paris 2003 Saint-Denis
Toyota really has thought of everything! As official partner to the World Championships, the car giant is supplying 200 vehicles for the event. And with a Yaris up for grabs in a unique competition, the fans have not been forgotten.
A Formula 1 simulator
Toyota has von over the fans with its Formula One simulator! Youngsters are flocking to it, leading their parents to one of the firm’s two stands set up within the stadium, the first on the visitors’ side and the second in the VIP area. Erected in 24 hours flat, the Toyota marquees opened their doors on Saturday at 8.30am.
The latest Avensis and the new Yaris, one of the brand’s key models, are on exhibition there, and a team of four hostesses on hand to inform potential customers on the entire Toyota range.
The keys to a Yaris handed over on the field!
The brand is really pushing the boat out on Saturday with a grand prize draw. "Bandanas will be given out on the day, after which there will be a draw. The name of the winner will be announced over the stadium PA and the lucky winner will have to come down onto the field to be given the keys!" It’s an original idea which enables the Japanese company to enhance its visibility, and the fun doesn’t stop there, for Toyota is also offering weekends at the Futuroscope for four persons.
200 vehicles provided for the World Championships
As official partner of the 9th World Championships, the Japanese firm is playing an important role in the transport networks put in place for the event. A fleet of 200 light cars is carrying out a dual role: an on-demand transport service with driver for accredited persons and a separate service for celebrities and delegation members.
