 FUN AT THE GAZ DE FRANCE STAND!

Gaz de France, a long time partner to French athletics, is playing a leading role at these World Championships, laying on special events and entertainment for the general public in and around the stadium.

The stand at Gate G has been jam-packed with spectators all Championships. They have been coming to the stand prior to the day’s competition or between events to have their photo taken alongside life-size images of top French athletes like Stéphane Diagana, Muriel Hurtis and Marc Raquil.
« It has been a fantastic success, says Agnès Roturier head of communications for Gaz de France. People seem to really enjoy the photo shots, and they get to see the results fifteen minutes later ». And if fans want to pose beside their idols in flesh and blood, they just need to run along to the autograph signing sessions organised in collaboration with the Sport Sans Frontières charity.
Tickets up for grabs
By assisting this charity which uses sport to help children in developing countries, Gaz de France are proving once again that they are much more than an official partner to French athletics. From providing invaluable support to top athletes to encouraging young people to take up the sport and sponsoring regional meetings, Gaz de France leads the field.
Gaz de France has also laid on a free competition throughout the World Championships. Fans can pick up scratch cards from the Gaz de France stand and try their luck in the hope of winning a prize. Two free tickets, six skipper bags and 10 tee-shirts are up for grabs!
