From the 23rd to the 31st of August 2003, a wave of approximately 3,500 media representatives will invade Paris and its surrounding regions . The Organising Committee worked hard to ensure that they will be welcomed in the best conditions.
For nine days, close to 3,500 journalists will be at the Stade de France® in search of intense emotions and strong images of the 9th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, that they will share with the entire world. As you can imagine, their time and energy will be extremely precious.
Thus, the Paris 2003 Saint-Denis Organising Committee has done its best to facilitate operations for the Media within the heart of the event's magnificent stage and also after the doors of the Stade de France® have closed. Out of the question that journalists will have to launch themselves in an endless marathon to return to their hotels: rooms, located close to the event's official venues, have been especially reserved for them.
- Stade de France®
- Athletes' Village
- Training venues
Once comfortably installed, the journalists will be able to enjoy the services that are available to them.
- A Paris 2003 Saint-Denis reception desk will provide them with necessary information
- Shuttles will transport them between the official venues and the different airports.
