Some 320 Organising Committee employees and Volunteers were together on Saturday 14 June to draft up training programmes for the teams they will be overseeing at the World Championships.

Jean Dussourd, Prefect and President of the Paris 2003 Saint-Denis GIP, is currently engaged on a marathon trip around France, drumming up support from regional league members, local elected representatives and Committee partners.

The successful staging of the World Championships begins right here – at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport. After all, this is where a large number of athletes and officials will touch down on French soil, and this is where our volunteers will first set to work.
